I can carry out many different forms of commissions from household items through to modern contemporary sculptures for artists. I can authentically reproduce gates and railings to any era keeping in-line with all conservation regulations. I offer a full service from conception through to installation. The only barrier to what can be produced is your imagination.
Restoration
We carry out many forms of restorations on historic ironwork. We can assist in dealing with English Heritage and Local Council Conservation Officers to ensure an authentic and approved restoration. We have teamed up with a local, well established and traditional foundry so we can ensure the best quality and the best price.
Mobile Forge
My Mobile Forge is extremely popular at many events. I run the Master Classes at The Institute of Making every year, and am a regular at the Harvest Festival at Capel Manor and the EMF festival. The mobile forge can be set up virtually anywhere - although indoor events take some planning and are not always viable - all we require is 6mx6m area, water and access to 240v power. These events can be demonstrations, have-a-go sessions - either free or paid - or a combination of both. The forge is also available for education classes at your school or college etc.
